Program Director: Professor Chris Bartlett, Harvard Business School
Chris is the Thomas D. Casserly, Jr. Professor of Business Administration at Harvard Graduate School of Business Administration. He received an economics degree from the University of Queensland, Australia (1964), and both the masters and doctorate degrees in business administration from Harvard University (1971 and 1979).
Prior to joining the faculty of Harvard Business School, he was a marketing manager with Alcoa in Australia, a management consultant in McKinsey and Company’s London office, and general manager at Baxter Laboratories’ subsidiary company in France.
As a consultant, Professor Chris Bartlett has worked closely with some of the world’s largest organisations, to assist them in transformation programs. Most notably, Chris was an advisor to Jack Welch at GE for many years as that organisation transformed into an icon of the modern business world.
