There has been increasing debate on the importance of ethical consumerism to the marketing of products and the day-to-day strategic management of business. This discussion examines the role that ethical dimensions of products play in the purchase decisions of consumerism, such as environmental protectionism, child labour practices etc. and how corporate social responsibility affects profitability.
