Academy of International Business Conference

The AIB is the pre-eminent society of international business academics throughout the world and represents the intellectual elite of international business thinking, research and teaching. The AIB has over 6000 members worldwide, including about 300 members in Australasia. AGSM hosted the 2001 conference, which was attended by roughly 400 academics from schools such as Oxford, Harvard, INSEAD and the best business schools and universities in Asia and Australia.
As part of the conference, the AIB conferred the International Executive of the Year award on Sir C.K Chow, CEO of Brambles Industries.
