PATRICE AUGER
Before joining MBS in 2001, Pat was Assistant Professor, Department of Management, City University of Hong Kong and Visiting Professor, Ecole Superieure de Commerce et de Management (ESCEM), Tours, France. He has taught at the College of Business, Shanghai University of Science and Technology, PRC and School of Management, Syracuse University, USA.
Pat has developed and conducted seminars on e-commerce targeted at executives and managers of large Hong Kong companies and organisations in Hong Kong and is part of a venture capital firm specialising in information technology investments, especially in e-commerce and Internet-related investments.
IAN BUCHANAN
Ian is currently Senior Adviser to – and former Regional Chairman of - Booz Allen Hamilton Australia, NZ, SE Asia. Ian has 30 years experience throughout the region & is former SE Asia/S Pacific CEO of SRI International. Ian has an M.B.A. from Wharton, an M.A. in Chemistry/Quantum Chemistry from Magdalen College, Oxford; and advanced studies in economic development at the Kiel Institute of World Economics, FRG. He has worked extensively at the most senior levels of both the public, private and defence sectors advising on strategy, performance improvement and change management, plus issues of ‘Whole-of-Nation’ security
TIM COLTMAN
During Tim's PhD candidature at the Australian Graduate School of Management he has provided e-business research and consultation to organizations such as the SAS Institute, Fairfax Business Research and SAP. He has published articles in leading journals such as California Management Review and Communications of the ACM and presented papers at internationally recognized conferences in the US, Singapore, France and Australia. Tim has more than 10 years experience in the IT industry, having worked as a senior project manager within consultancy, government and higher education sectors.
JOHN GATTORNA
Over the last 25 years, John Gattorna has earned an international reputation in the supply chain management field. He is a renowned lecturer and task force leader, and has a strong conceptual capacity, combined with a pragmatic approach to solving complex business problems. He holds the positions of Professorial Fellow in Supply Chain Management, and Co-Director, Supply Chain Research Centre, Sydney Business School, a Graduate School of University of Wollongong; Visiting Professor in Logistics & Supply Chain Management, Cranfield School of Management, Cranfield University, UK; and is an Adjunct faculty member, Macquarie Graduate School of Management, Sydney; Normandy Business School, Le Havre, France. Despite a demanding work schedule in industry and commerce John has been, and still is, a prolific writer, having published numerous books and articles in his areas of interest.
SIEGFRIED GUDERGAN
Siggi Gudergan received his PhD in Management & Marketing from the Australian Graduate School of Management. He is currently an Associate Professor in the School of Marketing, a core member of ICAN Research and a researcher in the Centre for the Study of Choice at the Faculty of Business, University of Technology, Sydney (UTS). He is also a member of the Faculty Board and the Academic Board at UTS. In 1996 he received the Distinguished Paper Award of the Academy of Marketing Studies Journal. In addition, he was awarded Honorable Mentions in the prestigious 1988/1999 international ISBM Doctoral Dissertation award Competitions of the "Institute for the Study of Business Markets" at the Pennsylvania State University.
Siggi's research is centered on collaboration in business relationships addressing aspects such as innovation, negotiation, governance and performance. He has in-depth knowledge in the areas of business collaboration and innovation with a focus on business partnerships and he has solid experiences in both qualitative and quantitative research methodologies.
JORDAN LOUVIERE
Jordan Louviere received his PhD from the University of Iowa in 1973. His career includes academic appointments at various universities, including the Australian Graduate School of Management. Currently, Jordan is Professor of Marketing in the Faculty of Business at UTS and Director of the Centre for the Study of Choice (CenSoC). He also is associated with the Centre for Health Economics Research and Evaluation (CHERE) at the University of Technology, and is one the senior team members of CHERE’s five-year National Health and Medical Research (NHMRC) Program Grant.
Jordan is internationally recognized as an expert in conjoint analysis and consumer choice modeling and has authored or co-authored more than 150 scholarly publications. He developed and pioneered the design and analysis of choice experiments and is part of a team that teaches stated preference choice modelling and design of choice experiments. In addition to academic activities, Jordan has consulted with private and public sector organizations on his own and in association with major consulting groups.
NADA WASI
Dr Wasi received her PhD from the University of California, San Diego, in 2005. Research interests include Applied Microeconomics, Environmental Economics, Urban Economics and Discrete Choice models.
She has published “Property tax limitations and mobility: the lock-in effect of California’s Proposition 13” (joint with Michelle J. White). Dr Wasi is working with CenSoC and the School of Marketing.
