Present geographic location?

Sydney

What are you doing with your life at present?

Fundraising for medical research and voluntary work in the community.

Life/ Career highlight?

Career highlight was working for the World Bank in Mozambique as an advisor to the Government on the privatisation program. Life highlight was living and working in Holland, Paris, New York, Monaco and Mozambique, till returning home in 2001.

Why did you decide to do your particular degree?

I was interested in finance at the time and wanted a degree that would enable me to work internationally.

How do you feel your AGSM experience changed you as a person?

I was 22 when I started the MBA course. The AGSM experience gave me the confidence and know-how to work in business and finance anywhere in the world, which is what I did! AGSM had a lot of older students and I gained a lot from studying with them. We had a great year and great faculty.

Why did you choose to study at AGSM?

It was and still is the best school in Australia.

Favorite memory of AGSM and why?

A group of us having Friday night pizza in Randwick, which was the only night we took off from studying! It was 70 hours a week and very full on. Another favorite memory are the finance lectures with Ray Ball, which were very mentally stimulating and cutting edge theories at that time.
