AGSM has negotiated an exclusive partnership with Opera Australian for alumni and friends of AGSM.
This special event will feature “A reserve” seats for the opera plus interval drinks and sandwiches, at the fully inclusive and significantly reduced price of $160 per AGSM Alumni member and each guest.
THERE WILL BE A SPECIAL LAUNCH OF THIS PARTNERSHIP at the interval of “The Barber of Seville” on Friday 24th August, 7:30pm, at the Sydney Opera House.
Opera Australia’s CEO Adrian Collette will join us at interval to officially launch the partnership between our two organisations.

Figaro is your man. Watch out Sydney, because Seville's Mr Fixit is coming to town with a stylish new production of Rossini's much-loved romantic comedy, bubbling over with playful melodies and melting arias.
In Seville's swankiest health spa, Dr Bartolo thinks he has everything - including his beautiful ward, Rosina - under control. But he is not counting on the antics of his head stylist. When Bartolo steps out, Figaro steps in, ready to play cupid. Jose Carbo is the smooth-talking Figaro, Figaro, Figaro, while Emma Matthews, who thrilled audiences as Lakme last year, makes her debut as Rosina. Henry Choo is her suitor, Almaviva and Richard Bonynge conducts Rossini's sparkling score.
Sung in Italian with surtitles. Running time: Two hours and fifty minutes, including one twenty minute interval.
