27 June 2007
Professor Timothy Devinney, a UNSW academic and expert on strategy, innovation and international business, has been awarded a prestigious Rockefeller Foundation Bellagio Fellowship.
Professor Devinney, an AGSM Professorial Research Fellow from Strategy and Entrepreneurship at the Australian School of Business™, will take up the residency at the Rockefeller Foundation’s Bellagio Centre in Italy in 2008.
The residency will provide Professor Devinney with an opportunity for uninterrupted work, critical thinking and time for individual reflection.
The fellowship is offered to scholars internationally and is highly competitive. This is the first time it has been awarded to a Management academic.
Earlier this year Professor Devinney was awarded a 2007–2008 Alexander von Humboldt research award in recognition of his international research achievements and academic career.
He is one of only two Australian academics to have received both awards.
