Program Structure
The AGSM Graduate Certificate in Change Management Program is specifically designed for practising managers and can be completed in as little as 1 year or you can take up to a maximum of 4 years.
The program is delivered completely online using eLearning technology.
The GCCM is centred around action learning (also called ‘experiential learning’) which involves drawing on your personal experiences to formulate new concepts. The focus is on students as opposed to instructors. Course exercises and issues relevant to your organisation form the content of the GCCM program. Readings from the course materials and online discussions with study colleagues encourage you to analyse your job experiences in a structured way. The aim is to develop your capacity to formulate new concepts and apply them to course projects and your workplace.
There are 4 courses in the GCCM and each must be successfully completed:
1. Approaches to Change
2. Change Skills
3. Redesigning the Organisation
4. Systems for Change

Study Pattern
There are 3 sessions a year. You can choose to take 1 or 2 courses per session. You can also control the pace of your learning by deferring sessions if necessary.
Sessions are 12 weeks long. Each course is divided into weekly units. As you work though the units you will be given a set of exercises. These will be completed in various ways: individually, some with your self-selected learning partner and some with your mentor. This design helps to overcome the isolation that is sometimes felt by distance learners and importantly, fosters the exchange of ideas and experience.
Online tutorials and focused discussions allow you to interact with study colleagues in a way, and at a time, that is convenient.
You will require approximately 10 to 12 hours of self-directed study a week per course.
Materials
For each course you receive a comprehensive set of learning materials. These include everything you need to develop a thorough understanding of the topics and to complete all assessments.
