Greg Lawler

Profile summary
Greg is a Chartered Accountant with over twenty years experience in accounting and financial roles in both the Chartered Accounting profession and also in commerce.

Following the completion of undergraduate studies (Bachelor of Commerce, majoring in Accounting and Finance) at UNSW, Greg completed the ‘Professional Year’ (postgraduate course to gain admission to the Institute of Chartered Accountants in Australia - ICAA) in 1987.

Prior to joining the Adjunct Faculty at AGSM MBA Programs, Greg was a lecturer and examiner for the ICAA’s Professional Year Program for six years. Subjects lectured included Accounting, Auditing and Ethics.

Professionally, Greg has over 20 years experience in the Chartered Accounting profession.

Greg is currently the Head of Corporate Reporting for Macquarie Bank Limited, overseeing the Financial Accounting, Regulatory Reporting, Legal Entity Control and Group Management Reporting functions of the Bank. Prior to Macquarie Bank, Greg’s experience in commerce included Group Accounting Manager for QBE Insurance Limited.

Most importantly, he is married with three lovely children!
