Mike Jenner

Profile summary
Mike Jenner is the founder and president of EFS, an interpersonal effectiveness and leadership development consulting practice. Mike has an MBA from the Harvard Business School and a B.Eng in Production Engineering and Management from the University of Bath.

While EFS’s primary focus is the design and delivery of leadership development seminars for multi-national clients, it has also undertaken change leadership, executive coaching, career management, personal effectiveness and other people-centric coaching projects.

Since EFS’s founding, Mike has had the opportunity to personally work with over 400 mid- to senior level executives from all across the globe.

EFS’s clients are primarily european and U.S. Fortune 500 companies. EFS prides itself on its expertise working equally effectively in the executive suite and on the management front line. Clients have included both Managing Partners and newly minted MBAs.

In its 15 years of existence EFS has worked with, amongst others: Deloitte Consulting, Ares Serono, British American Tobacco, Orange and the University of Chicago’s Graduate School of Business.

Separate from running EFS, Mike was a Clinical Associate Professor at the University of Chicago’s Graduate School of Business from 1998 until 2000. As Faculty Chair of the Leadership Effectiveness And Development (LEAD) program, he created a coaching-intensive, team-based, feedback-rich leadership training program not before seen at a graduate school for business.

While at the University, Professor Jenner was ranked #1 out of 178 faculty teaching at the business school and had an aggregate course grade of 4.70, the highest on record.

When not coaching or teaching, Mike is either playing in a croquet tournament somewhere across the globe or uncovering the joys of parenthood with his 7-year old daughter and 4-year old son.
