Wendy Grusin
Profile summary
Wendy has been a member of the AGSM MBA Prgorams adjunct faculty since 2000. She has acted as course leader for Managerial Skills (Sydney) and is course leader/lecturer for Managerial Skills (Hong Kong). She currently teaches Managerial Skills , Managing People and Organisations and Managing Change on the MBA (Executive) program as well as Custom Programs. She has taught on the full time MBA program, New Student Sessions and has developed 3 modules for the MBA (Executive) program.
Wendy continues to develop and/or deliver programs for other Schools including the Master of Management Veterinary Science Program (University of Sydney), UNSW School of Commerce MBT program, Warawarra, Macquarie University and Bachelor of Business Macquarie University.
Wendy has extensive business experience at a senior level, conducting consulting work in the areas of strategic planning and organisational change with a specialisation in commercialisation and performance improvement of public sector organisations. Wendy has worked for one of the large accounting firms and subsequently in her own business as a management consultant in Australia, Canada, South Africa and Israel. She has also conducted a review of academic programs and facilitated strategic planning for schools of UNSW and the University of Western Sydney.
Wendy is currently involved in doctoral research and has presented papers at:
Industrial & Organisational Psychology Conference (Sydney) (2001). Managerial cognition. The forgotten variable in strategy formulation.
International Conference of Psychology (Haifa, Israel) (2000). The effects of dispositional optimism and strategic issue type on issue interpretation and strategy choice.
She has also reviewed articles for Australian Journal of Management
Wendy was recently awarded the Teaching Excellence award for work done on the internationally recognised program of Master of Management Veterinary Science Program.
