David Forsaith

David has been facilitating the MBA (Executive)’s Economics in Management Practice and Corporate Finance classes in Adelaide since 1999. David is also a Senior Lecturer in the School of Commerce at Flinders University in Adelaide, South Australia where he teaches in finance, small business and international business.

David is a graduate of Flinders University and the London School of Economics. Prior to becoming a university lecturer, he was with the Australian Treasury in Canberra for almost 20 years. In the 1980s, he was the Australian Treasury representative in Japan for three years.

David is an author of a textbook Small Enterprise Financial Management: Theory and Practice and has written a number of articles on business topics. He is a member of the editorial panels of Small Enterprise Research, Australia’s leading small business research journal, and the international journal Venture Capital.

He is a member of CPA Australia, the Securities Institute of Australia, Australian Business Economists and the Small Enterprise Association of Australia. He is also Chairman of the Inner Southern Business Enterprise Centre covering the Marion and Holdfast Bay local government areas of metropolitan Adelaide.
