Mary Cork


Profile summary
During her long working career, Mary Cork has carried out roles in IT, Finance, Supply Chain in the manufacturing industry. In each of these roles, she has been actively involved in the management of change.

Commencing her career, following her under-graduate degree in Computer Science, Mary moved through various roles through to IT management. In doing so, she developed a keen interest in continuous improvement and the people aspects of implementing IT. This led her to take line roles in Finance and Supply Chain which allowed her to gain practical experience in the implementation of change, both small and large scale. Mary then moved into project management and change management on a permanent basis and her current role is National Change Manager in Dowell Windows which is a business unit of Boral. This role is aimed at leading major change projects which have an under-lying aim of ensuring the long-term viability of the business. The work revolves around capitalising
and building on the national strengths of the business by establishing a performance focus and through the development of a people based culture.

Mary joined the Australian Graduate School of Management as an adjunct on the Graduate Certificate of Change Management in 2007 as a key part of her overall self-development and career plan.

Mary is married with two children. Her interests include reading and playing netball.

Qualifications
Mary completed the Executive MBA at the Australian Graduate School of Management in 2004 and the Graduate Certificate in Change Management in 2002.
