Marco Berti
Profile summary
During his 20 years career Marco Berti has developed consultative skills in change management, corporate strategy and knowledge management serving a large number of Public and Private Sector organisations in Europe (Selex-Finmeccanica, MBDA, Lamborghini motors, AstraZeneca, Poste Italiane etc.). His major areas of interest have been Organisational networking, L&D system development and corporate culture analysis. In 2006 he authored a book on an innovative organisational networking initiative involving the Italian Chambers of Commerce.
A founding partner of the Italian consulting company Net Working, Marco moved to Australia in 2005, where he started collaborating with Primed Change consultants. As Primed senior consultant he has been involved in various change management projects for NSW State government, CSIRO, and other organisations. From 2007 he has also been working as Policy and Practice Consultant for the Institute of Public Administration Australia (IPAA), the professional association for Australian Public Sector practitioners and specialists. With IPAA NSW he has designed and developed a web based collaboration network to foster the innovation in the Australian Public Sector.
Marco has been involved in executive training since 1993, and between 1998 and 2005 he has taught at a Masters level in Organisational design, Change management and Corporate Strategy in business schools and Universities in Italy (Profingest, IFOA, Lecce University, etc.). He was appointed in 2007 as an Adjunct Lecturer at the Australian School of Business (incorporating AGSM MBA Programs), University of New South Wales, where he lectures in Organisational Structure and Change (in the full time MBA) and Organisational Design (in the Executive MBA).
Marco is married and his interests include travelling, cooking, swimming, reading and, of course, Opera!
Qualifications
He was awarded a bachelor degree with Honours in Political Sciences (with a major in Organisational studies) by the Universita’ degli Studi di Bologna in 1990.
