Jeffrey is Principal of Benston Research & Consulting Pty. Ltd. a management consulting practice he founded in 1983. His particular interests are in corporate and marketing strategy, communications strategy and the challenge of transforming strategy into action.

Jeffrey gained his Masters in Mechanical and Production Engineering from the Swiss Federal Institute of Technology (ETH), Zurich and graduated from Harvard Business School with an MBA cum laude.

Jeffrey has worked with international consulting firms McKinsey and Cresap, McCormack & Paget as well as with Australian industrial and financial services organisations associated with the Westpac and Courtaulds groups. Much of his work is in the financial and professional services industries. He has also advised government organisations such as the Reserve Bank, Defence Force Recruiting and the Department of Prime Minister and Cabinet on marketing issues.
