Richard Gould & partner Magda recently moved from Geelong to West Melbourne, and report they’re enjoying immensely living the inner city lifestyle. Richard continues commercial research in his doctoral area of export market selection & is a non-executive director of several businesses. He was recently reappointed for a second three-year term to the Board of disability organisation, Scope Ltd, and stepped down from the Committee of the Graduate Management Association of Australia following appointment to the governing Council of Victoria University. He’s also a member of the Board of Barwon Water. Magda continues to paint & exhibit stridently minimalist abstract works.
Guido Belgiorno-Nettis, Managing Director Transfield Holdings, has after investigating opportunities in the renewables industry for about two years, branched out into the burgeoning renewable energy industry.
Peeyush Gupta, Chief Executive Officer ipac Securities was pleased to announce the financial planning group ipac has extended its national coverage by taking an equity stake in Adelaide-based Portfolio Planning Solutions (PPS). Peeyush advised the PPS deal was the 21st done under the company's Equity Partner Program, and brings the number of advisers within the ipac network to around 140.

Anthony Kongats, Chief Executive Officer cap-XX is pleased to announce that cap-XX has recently been listed on the Alternative Investment Market (AIM) in London. Cap-XX manufactures its products in Sydney and at a contract plant in Asia.

Myles Baron-Hay, Chief Executive Sydney Swans was recently pleased to announce that the 2005 premiers had reached 31,256 members, breaking the old record of 31,175 set in 1999.
MBA 1990
Matthew Barnett, Chief Executive Officer for Optiscan, was proud of achieving MDD annex II certification, giving the company increased commercial flexibility on regulatory strategy for future flexible and rigid endo-microscope products. Optiscan has an alliance with Pentax and since the new flexible endo-microscope was launched in March, over 23 systems have been sold. Optiscan recently reported 3Q06 sales of $1.3m which is a positive start to revenue generation.
Andrew Cooke, Chief Investment Officer in asset management was one of the recently appointed new partners at JBWere.

Janice Chan resigned earlier this year from her position as Managing Director M&C Saatchi Agency, has joined Miller Insurance Services as a director and head of technical services. She will be responsible for managing the company's reinsurance support team.
MBA 1992
Chris Harmsen had dual cause for celebration at the end of December last year, having clocked up eight successful years as a founding partner of Sydney based management consultancy ARPOS, alongside a record breaking run on Bob Oatley's Wild Oats XI in the Sydney - Hobart Race. Wild Oats became only the second boat in the history of the race to take out the "triple": race record, line honours and handicap honours, the first being Rani in the inaugural race in 1945. Chris was a watch captain for the trip and is now safely back at his desk!

Judy Slatyer Chief Executive Officer Lonely Planet and SDX Joint Publishing Company, one of China's most respected publishing houses, announced a new publishing partnership which will see Lonely Planet titles translated into Mandarin for the Chinese market. said during an interview that “our new Chinese-language guidebooks will help Chinese travellers to shape their own unique travel experience”. The first set of Lonely Planet guidebooks translated into simplified Chinese script is expected to be launched in June 2006.

Nancy Cao currently located in Florida will be getting married in June this year! The wedding will be held in Boston.

Melissa Doueihi and her husband Andrew had a baby girl on 23 November 2005 - Olivia Youssef Douehi. The next day at the same hospital, Theresa and Tony Mascarenhas had a baby boy - Christian Baoyan Mascarenhas. Melissa and Theresa later caught up at breastfeeding class, whilst the kids contemplated
joining the AGSM MBA Class of 2034.
