Professor Graham Hellestrand had joined its board. Dr Hellestrand is founder and chairman of United States based VaST Systems Technology.

Tony Whitfort has joined Melbourne based e-business & IT services company 4LOOP as Marketing & Business Development Manager. He's also aiming to run a personal best in this year's Canberra Marathon in April.

Maria Kent has been promoted from Chief Manager, IT Technical Services to Head, IT Infrastructure for Aust and NZ Region, Rabobank Australia.

John Bronger farewelled friends and colleagues at the annual Pharmacy Guild dinner in Canberra last week, as the presidency passed to Kos Sclavos on November 28.

Jacki Johnson was earlier this year promoted to another new role -- chief executive of business relationships and will manage IAG's relationships with brokers and other third-party distributors.

Ross Norton Group Executive, Business Banking, Bank of QLD, recently announced the bank had acquired a $78 million debtor finance business as part of its ongoing strategy of building a national retail and business banking network.

Barry Borzillo , Managing Director Ericsson Australia recently spoke on the Ericsson’s outsourcing deal that will construct and integrate Telstra s new $1bn UMTS 3G mobile network. Ericsson will hire over 1400 engineers and construction staff to build the network within a 24-month timeframe. CEO Barry Borzillo said: "I don't know that Telstra has done anything quite like this before, this is a turnkey project. Barry was also recently appointed deputy chairman of AMTA.

Salman Ali has been appointed as President Marketing & Sales Asia Pacific,
For Neuman Aluminium Austria (headquarters in Vienna, Austria). Salman
Joined the Nueman Group 5 years ago and is based in Sydney running the sales office for the Asia Pacific Region. The Neuman Group has manufacturing operations in Austria, Canada, USA and China.

Craig Boyle has joined the ASX listed 'SMS Management and Technology' concentrating on Business Development and Consulting to Banking and Finance organisations located pre-dominantly in NSW.

Lance Batty and wife Selina Chaine are having a baby, due in September. All ready there is strong debate on whether the new born will follow the All Blacks or Wallabies...but all other indications are good.

Jeff Miller Head Coach Qld Rugby Union, will start a new career in banking when he finishes with the Reds at the end of the current Super 14 season. Miller, who is being replaced at the Reds by former Wallabies coach Eddie Jones, will join expanding Investec Bank's Australian operations in Brisbane in a business development role. The 43-year-old previously worked in the corporate world with TNT for a decade, rising from sales executive to regional manager.

Tracey Hamilton left Starbucks and has recently started as General Manager Marketing and International Brand Development for Michel's Patisserie.

Katherine O’Regan formally General Manager Corporate Affairs Promian Group - now Director Advance has taken the leap across the ocean and has relocated from Sydney to Los Angeles to work for Advance - an initiative of the Australian Government and Australian businesses to support and leverage the Australian expatriate community.

MBA (Executive) 2004
Ted Aravinthan married Anusha in January 2006. The wedding and reception were held in Sydney and attendees included Simon Wayne, Rod Smith and Heath Christie - fellow MBA (Executive) graduates. Also in April Ted took on a new role within Symantec as the Regional Program Manager for Asia Pacific/Japan region, still working out of Singapore.

Katrina Nelson has recently moved to Melbourne to take up her new role in business development for Alinta Asset Management.
