AGSM’s Advisory Council, comprised of prominent Australians representing a range of industry sectors, plays a valuable strategic role for the School.


Advisory Council members share their insights about the opportunities and challenges facing business now and into the future, assisting AGSM to better understand business needs. They are a strategic sounding board for the Dean, influencing future policy and program directions.

Three new members joined the Advisory Council during 2004. These are Gavin Bell, Peter Farrell and John Mullen. We welcome our new members and thank them for their investment in the School.

Council members also directly engage with students, providing them with a window into the business world. A number of Advisory Council members have hosted breakfasts and lunches with the MBA students during the year.
